Inspect the balance line from within the pool.
There are two types of blockage that can occur in the balance line.
- Pool will overfill
- Fault 1 will trigger after timeout
- Pool will not fill
- No fault will trigger
You can clear a blocked balance line by removing the end cap and sensor, then attaching a hose and flushing out the debris. You may need to temporarily remove the eyeball return to allow maximum flow through the line.
In some cases of extreme or stubborn blockage, it is advised to call a qualified plumber.
Partial blockages may cause intermittent or inconsistent behaviour. Ensure the balance line is clear at least once yearly before turning the system on for operation.
