Fault 5 — BOOST

Description

Fault 5 occurs when the voltage being sent from the control box to the solenoid is insufficient to open the valve.

Causes

1. Incorrect parameters

The output voltage does not suit the requirements of the solenoid valve. This most often occurs during installation due to incorrect configuration.

See Configuring solenoid voltage settings.

2. Issue with control box output or power supply

On very rare occasions, this fault indicates a problem with the output voltage generated by the control box or power supply. If the issue persists, replace the unit.

See Replacing the control box.
