Loose or frayed cables
If the connection to the power pack or outlet is damaged or loose, the control box may not turn on, or may lose power intermittently.
Water damage
The Water Witch has been designed to withstand incidental splashing and infrequent rainfall, however over extended periods of repeat exposure, water may find its way into the Water Witch control box.
To mitigate the impact of water on your Water Witch control box and power pack, it is highly recommended that they are installed away from the immediate pool area and out of direct exposure to the elements.
Operating in extreme temperatures
The Water Witch is not rated for use outside of normal ambient conditions.
Extreme weather events and natural disasters that cause fluctuations in temperature can cause damage to the control box and power pack.
Likewise, the control box should not be installed in an enclosed and humid space with little ventilation and/or a consistently high ambient temperature.
