NOTE: Particular care should be taken within the first month after installation to confirm the system is operating correctly.
Monthly
- Observe the operation of the unit.
- Inspect all components are working as intended.
Seasonally
- Inspect the sensor and ensure it is free of debris, that the ball float moves freely, and that there is no build-up of algae on the inside of the tube (see Checking for debris in sensor).
- Check that the sensor activates the control box (see Testing Water Witch operation).
- Confirm that the balance line is clear of debris (see Checking a balance line).
Annually
- Remove the solenoid pre-filter to clear any debris or contaminant.
